Finally got around reading Scare Row after waiting two years for its release. Cam, the incredibly addictive Cam. Though this book was an fantastic read and I enjoyed it, nothing went down the way I imagined it would. He’s even trained his dog its whole life to track down her scent. And the more she learns about him, the more she begins to understand his world and why he is involved in it. I’ll never forgive myself. The story is told in alternating chapter POVs and I just love that.

Emily, what the hell is wrong with you? I loved the development of the story and found that it told the story with a certain finesse that explained the background for everything well. He was all my love and my joy. I’m not and it just didn’t make me believe it was more than a first book in a series to crank out as fast as possible.

He left Emily to protect her but it backfired completely, for both of them. Even beautiful stories cfows be at times frustrating. I would have deleted the epilogue, it could be more interesting but I guess the author had her reasons to give us some information about what was going to happen next.
The dog does everything he says! I know it must be hard writing with kids BUT please let it come out soon Even though I get why he did it, it wasn’t what she wanted. He was her life saver and added so much to the story.
