When it finally does turn off, it turns it off for all applications and builtin menu and I cannot turn it back on except by pressing 3 in Trekbuddy. Could it be that TB remembered the first-first-ever answer, on the first ever start of the program? I guess seeing no “v3” mentioned s60psoton I must’ve concluded that the “standard Nokia, SonyEricsson, Siemens, So, trekbuddy service keeps the display on, but does NOT disable screensaver, at least s660spoton my phone.
To make a suggestion, elaborate S60 versions at least on the download page that require the symbian version of the program.

Fri Jan 22, 3: Regardless of the intensity setting, phone turns off display sooner or later, and usually screensaver activates.
So far, I’m mostly using Trekbuddy as b73 car trip computer, but this makes it unusable, unless I use some other way of disabling the screensaver, like S60SpotOn, but that is quite impractical I’m open s60splton testing if you’d like my help.
Fri Jan 22, 4: This is the way it behaves whether helper service is installed or not. As I understood, this is not normal behavior for Trekbuddy on a Symbian phone if helper service z60spoton installed.
